Milena’s primary degree was in marketing and her Masters was in International Economic Relations obtained from the University of National and World Economics in Sofia. Her time there helped her to grow up, broaden her horizons, and develop her communication skills. These she put to good use in the next phase of her life in the U.S. Working in the hospitality industry there she learned the value of good teamwork, a disciplined approach and a thoroughly professional way of doing things. On her return to Bulgaria she worked in an international equity company called Global Finance which was great experience. She became the first asset of Checkmate in 2005 shortly after the company started and has continued to be a major plus point.
A day without laughter is a day wasted! There are hundreds of languages in the world, but a smile speaks them all. Every single day spent in this company is an achievement for me, as Checkmate is my endless source of inspiration! My responsibilities are all the things I love doing...facing new challenges, welcoming new opportunities and getting things done. I believe in true love, good friends, great chats, mountain trips, winter time and snowflakes...Racing through powdery snow, happiness echoing from each part of my body...dreaming that this could last forever...
